Hi, I'm Colin - I live in North Leeds with my wife Jenny and our cockapoo, Rowdy. In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors, mountain and fell walking, camping and exploring the UK in our campervan. So if you are looking for a celebrant who likes pets and conducting outdoor ceremonies in unusual locations, I'm in!

I have been a member of Humanists UK for the past 10 years, after feeling that calling myself an atheist didn't really fully describe what my approach to life was. I trained as a humanist celebrant after attending humanist wedding and funeral ceremonies - after seeing how beautifully the celebrants reflected the lives and stories of the couples and individuals, I wanted to do the same for others.

I have a professional background in speech writing and event management and I bring this experience, along with my non-religious outlook on life, to work with you to create your perfect wedding, vow renewal, commitment or elopement ceremony.

I love hearing couple's love stories and helping bring these to life for their friends and family. I want to hear your story - how you met, what you love about each other, your values what you want to celebrate in your ceremony. I will then weave all this into a ceremony script which is uniquely yours on your big day.

I want to make sure your ceremony hits the right notes for you and your guests, so we can make it as romantic, heartfelt, funny or silly as you want..it's your day, your way!

I'm also pretty calm under pressure, so no matter how nervous you both are about standing in front of everyone, I will be there to guide you through it all. I've got you!
